some people are saying MIA’s new video is hyped up too much. it’s point of contention, but what is not is that this video makes you stop and think. about the state of the world, of past injustices and travesties of mankind, and the frightening, repetitive nature of history.
yesssss! another gaga telephone parody! (rubbing hands together in anticipation) this one has a few lulls, but gets good about halfway through. not quite as as riveting as steve’s chatroulette version, but that does not matter. these soldiers rock better costumes. they practically mastered gaga’s cryptic choreography. most importantly, they nailed the hand gestures that are slightly reminiscent of nomar garciaparra’s at-bat glove adjustment ritual.
